The best kind of Greek breakfast! Nothing beats a wonderfully aromatic Greek coffee and homemade cinnamon koulourakia. The biscuits will make your kitchen smell amazing, the heady hints of cinnamon particularly welcome on a chilly autumn morning

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup EVOO
- 1/2 cup fine sugar
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 2 cups plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon .
- To garnish:
- 1 tbsp cinnamon + 1 tbsp fine sugar
Instructions

Preheat oven to 180C. Using a big bowl, mix the the EVOO, sugar and juice.

In a seperate bowl mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon. .

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the EVOO mixture until. Soft dough forms (you may need to add more flour). Set the dough aside to rest in the fridge for around half an hour.

Line a baking tray with baking paper and in a seperate bowl mix the sugar and cinnamon for the garnish.

Take the dough and break off equal size pieces (about 1 tsp); roll into a thin cord and then make your preferred shape. Dip in the garnish and place on the lined baking tray.

Bake for around 15 minutes, leave them to cool on trays and serve with coffee. .
